IMPORTANCE OF KINDNESS Kindness has many benefits including increased happiness and a healthy heart. It slows down the aging process and improves relationships and connections, which indirectly boosts your health. Kindness should be defined as quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are words that are associated with kindness.  Being kind often requires courage and strength. Kindness is an interpersonal skill. Kindness is caring about others and doing things to help make their lives better. It allows us to connect with other people and build meaningful relationships. When someone does us a kindness, we feel connected and more willing to cooperate with them. When we do something nice for someone, we cultivate trust, and we feel good about ourselves for being a kind person. In the world at large, we have seen so much pain and heartbreak.
